R&D engineers at ARO group headquarters in Chateau-du-Loir, France, today announced that the next generation of robot welding technology for the automotive industry is nearing its market debut. The third generation global gun, dubbed “3G", is the result of some three years of development and over fifty years experience by the market leader in welding technology to the automotive industry. Final trials are nearing completion and a series of pre-launch presentations to senior automotive company engineers have been made. The new gun is expected to be available in Europe and the US from this Fall.
