M Jean-Pierre Mereau, ARO Group’s recently appointed President, today announced that he has formed a new Management Board at ARO Welding Technologies SAS, the Group’s parent company in France.
M Jean-Noël Boyer, Engineering and Projects Director, is the only director remaining from the former board. Former President, Didier Lombard left the company last month and finance director Bernd Mabuechen departed this week.
M Jean Yves David, formerly Managing Director of ARO Controls SAS, has been appointed Sales & Marketing Director, in view of the future re-integration of that company and M Thierry Goutier is Operations Director. M Patrick Muhlbauer joins the team from Langley group sister company Claudius Peters SA in Mulhouse, as Finance Director.
In March the company announced that it was restructuring the French business and has since reduced central headquarters staff in Chateau-du-Loir by around 20%. ARO now employs around 290 people in Chateau-du Loir and around 500 world wide.
Commenting earlier M Mereau said:
“Today a page has been turned. Now we begin a new chapter for ARO”.
