Ryan’s Story

It is the 22nd year that my mum Gail Lovett passed away from cancer. After being inspired from hearing stories of how caring and loving she was I decided to continue her spirit of helping people and two years ago started raising money for charity in celebration and commemoration of her life. This year I’ve teamed up with a close friend of mine, Mark Exon, to raise money for a cause relevant and very meaningful to the both of us, men’s mental health.

Mark and I will be trekking just over 80 miles over three days from the Humber bridge to Filey on the coast. We will be camping between the days in a tent, cosy! We have never done anything like this before, I have personally never walked further than 20 miles in one go.. especially carrying all the gear and equipment that we will be doing, so this is no easy feat!!
