At the same time, rapid growth in AI-driven data centres is driving new demand for resilient, high-performance power infrastructure, particularly in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>He brings more than 30 years of engineering and leadership experience to the role. Dean began his career as an electrical apprentice with British Steel in the United Kingdom and has since held a wide range of engineering and management positions across the UK, Japan and the United States.<\/p>\n<p>As Co-CEO, Richards joins Dr Detlev Seidel, Managing Director Group Operations. Seidel\u2019s deep operational knowledge and experience across the business, combined with Richards\u2019 commercial and technical expertise, form a strong joint leadership team for the business.<\/p>\n<p>Richards\u2019 appointment follows the planned retirement of Dr Zaki Slgini in June, following a transition period. The company extends its sincere thanks to Dr Slgini for his leadership and significant contribution to the development and success of the business.<\/p>\n<p>Commenting on the appointment, Anthony J. Langley, Chairman &amp; CEO of Langley Holdings plc, said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDean is a highly experienced and respected leader who has demonstrated strong leadership in the United States and earned the confidence of colleagues across the Group.<\/p>\n<p>His appointment adds commercial and technical depth alongside Detlev\u2019s wealth of operational experience.<\/p>\n<p>Piller has built its reputation over decades in some of the world\u2019s most demanding mission-critical environments, and that remains the foundation of the business. At the same time, markets are evolving quickly, particularly in the United States, where growth in AI-driven data centres is increasing demand for resilient power infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>I would also like to thank Zaki for his commitment and leadership. He leaves the business in a strong position, and we wish him well in his retirement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dean Richards said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPiller has an exceptional heritage, deep engineering expertise and a strong reputation around the world.
