Langley Holdings plc, the diverse engineering and industrial group, today published its Interim Trading Statement for the 6 months to 30 June, 2022.<\/p>\n

In his Chairman\u2019s Review, Mr Tony Langley said that order books have \u201creached a new record high at the half year” and despite the challenges being faced by the group\u2019s businesses, overall the first half of 2022 was \u201csatisfactory\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reorganisation of Bergen Engines AS, the Norwegian medium-speed diesel engine builder,\u00a0acquired from Rolls-Royce plc<\/a>\u00a0on 31st December, 2021, was \u201clargely complete\u201d at the half-way.<\/p>\n

He says the measures will have a positive effect in the second half, with the full benefits coming in 2023 and beyond.<\/p>\n

The group reported a profit before tax (PBT) of \u20ac20.5 million for the period to 30th June on revenues of \u20ac542.6 million, compared with \u20ac12.0 million for the same period last year on revenues of \u20ac363.9 million.<\/p>\n

The group closed the half year with net assets of \u20ac844.4 million compared with \u20ac738.9 at June 2021. The consolidated cash balance was \u20ac254.8 million (June 2021: \u20ac311.9).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
