Piller\u2019s technology has been selected to help support the high levels of reliability, responsiveness and energy efficiency required by large-scale AI deployments.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clean Power for Intensive AI Loads<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AI workloads are highly resource intensive and demand continuous uptime, low-latency power protection, as well as infrastructure that can respond rapidly to load changes. Active Power\u2019s CleanSource\u00ae battery-free UPS is specifically engineered for these challenges, offering unmatched power density, minimal lifecycle costs and enhanced sustainability compared to conventional battery-based systems.<\/p>\n<p>Several hundred CleanSource\u00ae UPS units will be deployed at the M\u00e4nts\u00e4l\u00e4 site during 2025. The UPS systems are manufactured at Piller\u2019s Active Power factory in Austin, Texas, where production has been scaled up to meet the requirements of this high-volume project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Energy Efficiency<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For Piller, the M\u00e4nts\u00e4l\u00e4 deployment represents a significant contribution to one of the most advanced AI infrastructures in Europe. The project not only demonstrates the technical capability of CleanSource\u00ae UPS at scale but also aligns with the company\u2019s broader goals of enabling energy-efficient, sustainable digital infrastructure worldwide.
