{"id":798,"date":"2023-07-14T07:14:18","date_gmt":"2023-07-14T07:14:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/langley-holdings.whattheframework.uk\/pt-pt\/?p=798"},"modified":"2023-09-15T07:29:49","modified_gmt":"2023-09-15T07:29:49","slug":"reader-secures-5-million-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/pt-pt\/blog\/2023\/07\/14\/reader-secures-5-million-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"Reader secures \u00a35 million investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Reader will boost annual production to over 10 millions bags<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reader Cement Products Ltd, the UK\u2019s largest independent materials blending and packing producer, has secured a \u00a35 million investment to boost annual production to over 10 millions bags.<\/p>\n<p>The investment from Reader\u2019s parent company, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/pt-pt\/about\/\">Langley Holdings plc<\/a>, will expand Readers existing production facility by an additional six new Arodo Arovac\u00ae 500 automated packing machines, fed by SGH Equipment&#8217;s material handling equipment, totalling fourteen machines across Readers Pinxton, Nottinghamshire HQ facility.<\/p>\n<p>In line with Langley\u2019s sustainable objectives, Reader can expect to become 100% virgin plastic free with continued efforts to develop new, low carbon, cement alternative products.<\/p>\n<p>William Langley, Managing Director, Reader Cement Product Ltd, said: \u201cThis is the right time to invest to meet growing UK &amp; European market demands for packed cement, and cement alternative, products and to help us achieve our sustainable production goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Reader has supplied the construction, civil engineering, and DIY sectors for almost 40 years, produced and distributed from its three sites located in Nottinghamshire.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion has commenced and is expected to be online Q2 2024<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-799\" src=\"http:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/pt-pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/09\/reader-aerial-view-300x124.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"124\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/pt-pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/09\/reader-aerial-view-300x124.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.langleyholdings.com\/pt-pt\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2023\/09\/reader-aerial-view.jpeg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Reader Cement&#8217;s Pinxton facility expansion project will boost annual output from c.6.5 million to over 10 million bags.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>About Reader<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reader has been producing high quality cement products since 1985, originally for the mining industry.
