Piller Group GmbH today announced the appointment of Mr Dean Richards as Geschäftsführer and Co-CEO, Global Businesses.
Mr Richards (55) is currently President and CEO of Piller Power Systems Inc, the group’s US subsidiary, a position he has held since 2010.
As Co-CEO Mr Richards assumes overall responsibility for Piller’s international subsidiaries and leadership of Piller Group GmbH, jointly with Geschäftsführer and Co-CEO Operations, Dr Detlev Seidel.

Mr Richards succeeds Dr Zaki Slgini, who will retire in June. The company extends its sincere appreciation to Dr Slgini for his leadership and contribution to the development and success of Piller since transferring from Marelli Motori’s German subsidiary in 2022.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr Bernard Langley, Group Executive Director & Main Board Member at Langley Holdings said:
“Dean is a highly experienced and respected leader with a deep understanding of our Piller business and its markets. His international experience and engineering background make him ideally suited to this key leadership role.
I would also like to thank Zaki for his commitment and leadership since transferring to Piller and for his service at Marelli Motori. We wish him well in his retirement.”
