Gladiator Sailing Team
The team campaigns three TP52 racing yachts based in: Cowes, Isle of Wight in the UK; Palma Mallorca, in the Mediterranean and; Newport RI in the USA.
The team competes primarily in the elite TP52 Super Series, the world’s premiere monohull yacht racing circuit. The five-regatta series takes place each summer at different locations in the Mediterranean and US.
The series features the prestigious Rolex World Championship, a highlight of the calendar. Rolex has been a key partner of the 52 SUPER SERIES since its inception in 2012, underscoring the event’s status at the pinnacle of grand prix monohull racing. In 2024, Gladiator claimed victory at the Rolex TP52 World Championship, further cementing their place among the sport’s elite.
In the USA, Gladiator Sailing Team has competed at the prestigious New York Yacht Club (NYYC) Annual Regatta and at the NYYC Rolex Race Week. In the UK, the team are a regular spectacle at the world-famous Cowes Week. Gladiator Sailing Team is owned by the British billionaire industrialist, Tony Langley. The team’s principal sponsor is Langley Holdings plc, which features different divisions of the group each season, alongside the core Langley branding.
