Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre attends award ceremony

Bergen Engines AS has received the Villsauen 2025 Internationalization – Exporter of the Year Award – from Bergen Næringsråd and Vestland Fylkeskommune – in the the presence of Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre and over 1200 leaders from Norway’s business community.

“This recognition reflects our transformation, our strengthened international position, and the growth made possible by our skilled employees” said managing director, Jon Erik Røv.

Commenting on their decision the jury stated: “Bergen Engines has proven that Norwegian industry can compete and win at a world-class level. With solid roots, a high level of expertise, and a clear vision for the future, the company demonstrates what professional, goal-oriented, and persistent work can achieve globally. Not only in good times, but especially when change and perseverance are required.”
